Photos: Bride Sparks Outrage after She Tied her Baby to Wedding Dress & Dragged Her Down the Aisle

A Tennessee bride, Shona Carter-Brooks has been attacked online after photos of her young baby strapped to her wedding gown went viral. Shona really, really wanted to get her baby involved in her wedding, so much so, in fact, that she tied the one-month-old baby Aubrey to her wedding train and dragged her as she walked down the aisle.
Shona Carter-Brooks said on Facebook that Aubrey was “awake and well-secured” and “covered in Christ.” However, commenters were outraged to see the picture of the baby on the train of her mother’s wedding dress and demanded she be reported to child protection services. Others said that what Cater-Brooks did was child abuse.
Carter-Brooks posted on Facebook that her wedding dress was by Vera Wang and was customised to fit the baby. Her wedding dress was believed to have been bought for around $400 to $1,400.
