Carpool returns!
For those of you who may have seen it in the past, Carpool is a long running video podcast (that's also been a broadcast TV series) that I started in 2009.
Those of you who've seen Jerry Seinfeld's excellent series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee may notice some very hazy similarities.
Being the first to do something does not always mean the original is best, but without question Carpool had been running for 3 years and had over 7,000,000 views before Jerry and his enormous production team mounted a Go-Pro on the windscreen of a 13 mpg classic car.
Carpool is only ever recorded in an electric or hybrid vehicle, which, as the picture shows, can sometimes be quite a high end model.
The car in the picture in the Porsche Panamera S E-Hybrid, and my first passenger, Stephen Mangan.
I am recording a few more episodes before we start releasing them and will update ASAP. All online, free to watch etc.
