Abduction of schoolgirls: ‘Height of incivility’ — By Educationists

Abducted Chibok Schoolgirls Beg President Jonathan To Spare Their Lives In New Video
The action of the insurgents, the duo said, was not only condemnable but also the height of incivility.
They spoke to our correspondent in a telephone interview on Thursday.
Members of the Boko Haram sect last April 14 invaded the school at night and forcibly took away the girls to an unknown destination.
Frowning on the sect’s action, Nwobosi-Anatune, who is the administrator of the Rinadac Foundation, said the attempt by the insurgents to use the girls to score some political points was unnecessary.
The Montessori expert, urged the Federal Government to ensure the safe return of the innocent pupils, adding that it was necessary to save them from further psychological trauma.
She also implored the Federal Government to liaise with security outfits of the United Kingdom, United States of America, among others to end the abduction saga, which she described as a “nightmare.”
Kandozie, the founder of the Deborah Academy for Girls Initiative, who also condemned the abduction, urged Nigerians to join hands together and end criminality in the country.
According to her, the attention the saga has attracted shows that irrespective of state, tribe or religion, Nigerians are united in condemning the abduction.
She added, “The Chibok girls saga, for me, is a lesson that we are indeed brothers and sisters, though tribe and tongue may differ. Everyone is calling for the safe return of the girls. Whether Christians, Moslems, Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa, everyone is now concerned about their safety and it is a plus for the nation.”
